The Torino 2 is a comfortable and upright pathway, rail trail or around-town e-bike at a very affordable price point.

This is a great first step into the world of e-bikes as the Torino 2 represents good quality for the price and is equipped with many extras like mudguards, disk brakes, LED headlight, rear carrier, and it also has a thumb throttle which some of our customers like to have as well as the standard e-bike electric motor pedal-assist. 

The Torrino 2 is an easy entry step-through frame, which is helpful for both men and women who don't fancy swinging their leg behind the saddle to mount the bike. 

The battery is nicely hidden away in the frame, bringing the centre of gravity more 'forward and centre' than other e-bikes around the $2000 - $2500 range, as they usually have a battery behind the saddle or below the carrier (see the Volto Tui E-Bike and the Flying Cat Style E-Bike). 

When you're riding around on rail trail gravel or Hawke's Bay's limestone trails it's nice to have a slightly wider tire which will deliver more grip, and better balance as well as some shock absorbing capability, and the Torrino fits the bill well here with a mountain bike style 1.95 wide tire on it's 26" wheels. The front suspension in the forks also makes for a smoother ride over the inevitable lumps and bumps in the trails that run through stock paddocks!

The 250W e-bike brushless motor is in the hub of the rear wheel which is the most common placement for e-bikes around $2k - $3k. 

The Torrino delivers ergonomically with a comfortable saddle, relaxed and upright posture, polished aluminium swept back handlebars and plenty of further adjustments that we can make for you in our workshop to fit the bike to your needs.
