The Ezee Vente e-bike is a good value e-bike designed for the urban commuter and ideal for  rail trail or limestone pathway riding here in Hawke’s Bay.

It has a very low step through ‘Dutch style’ frame giving you a relaxed upright riding position. 

The Vente is fast but still an easily controllable ride with a very comfortable saddle, and that low frame makes stepping on and off again a breeze. The front suspension forks deliver a smooth ride over rough stuff.

With the Nexus Shimano internal rear gearing, the chain cannot fall off, practically never needs adjustment, and has very long periods between lubrication. The Vente’s 700c wheels with front wheel motor-drive roll over road imperfections easily yet is controllable and precise in steering. The grunty 200 rpm hi-torque motor, with planetary gearing, takes you home up the hills with ease.

Front wheel drive e-bikes like this are often the first choice of NZ Councils, NZ Post and most other technical buyers. This is the same V3 Kinetic motor (by eZee Kinetic) that won the 7000 km Sun Trip race in 2015, beating all the German brands by two full days! it has the racehorse pedigree, but is tame for your riding pleasure.

Note that the Vente Classic now comes with a Shimano front disc brake and the Shimano roller disc brake in the rear.
